The government has launched a new scheme to provide funds to support domestic violence survivors on spousal visas whilst they make an application for Indefinite Leave to Remain under the Immigration Concession. This funding was previously administered by the Sojourner Project and the government has devised a system to enable survivors claim benefits whilst they make an application to the UK Boarder Agency (UKBA).
