Last few spaces! Domestic Abuse Enhanced Awareness training
There are just a few spaces left on our Domestic Abuse Enhanced Awareness course on 12th November 2012 designed to enable staff to carry out domestic abuse screening, risk identification and safety planning and to also facilitate early identification of and intervention in domestic abuse. Places on all other Domestic Abuse Enhanced Awareness courses provided by ESAB are fully booked until April 2013.
All remaining places on the full day course in Chelmsford, which is designed for frontline staff in need of improved domestic abuse awareness, are charged at just £75 per person and will enable delegates to understand:
the role of MARAC;- how victims can use ‘violent resistance’ to the abuser but that this does not make them equal perpetrators of abuse;
- how living with domestic abuse impacts on children and young people, including the impacts on victims’ and perpetrators’ parenting capacities;
- their role and agency responsibilities;
- the options available to victims, perpetrators and secondary victims.
