UK Refuges Online (UKROL) is a UK-wide online information system which contains information about domestic violence/abuse services available for adult and child survivors and refuge service vacancies.
Women’s Aid launched a new and improved version of the site on Monday 3rd December. The new site has all the features of the existing site with some additional or simplified features. Services have been advised how to register for the site and set up other users at their service. If you are a UKROL member and have not received the email giving those details, please contact ukrol@womensaid.org.uk as a matter of priority as you will not be able to access the site with your old log in details after Monday 3rd December.
There will be no change to the way services access the site at www.ukrefugesonline.org so any shortcuts should still work.
The new UKROL site is compatible with Firefox, Chrome, Safari and the latest versions of Internet Explorer. However, there are compatibility issues with Internet Explorer Version 7 so we recommend upgrading. If member services are unsure how to tell which version you are using call 0117 983 7136 or, if member services have any queries about the process please contact the UKROL Project Co-ordinator at ukrol@womensaid.org.uk.
If you have any queries or concerns relating to the transition to the new site OR if your service is not already benefiting from being on UKROL and you would like more information or for details of how to join, please contact ukrol@womensaid.org.uk.
