Listening and Learning: Improving Support for Victims

From November 2012, elected police and crime commissioners (PCC's) will replace police authorities across England and Wales. In order to assist the PCC's in meeting the needs of victims across the county Victim Support has published a report which summaries the support that is being provided for victims of crime in Essex.

Whilst the report focusses on various crimes, it pays particular attention to domestic abuse, sexual violence and hate crime, all of which form a significant part of the adult safeguarding agenda.

The full report can be accessed here.
