More useful training information

Last year saw the introduction of a new safeguarding adults competency framework. The framework is a guide to which competencies staff groups should be able to evidence.

The training focus, for all providers, should be on the competence level of their staff, not the number or type of training courses they have attended. ESAB has published a basic training workbook as a way of way of evidencing competencies. This is aimed at those whose jobs or voluntary activities do not need face to face training. The workbook is downloadable here free of charge.
