ESAB training
Domestic Abuse - Basic Awareness (Download flyer)
The aim of this half day course is to raise awareness of domestic abuse and to enable staff to understand their role and responsibility in relation to domestic abuse. Cost of course: £30.Domestic Abuse - Enhanced Awareness (Download flyer)
The aim of this full day course is to enable staff to carry out domestic abuse screening, risk identification and safety planning and to also facilitate early identification of and intervention in domestic abuse. Cost of course: £75.DASH Risk Checklist Training (Download flyer)

Women’s Aid Training
Domestic abuse can seriously damage your health!
Training for members of the Royal College of Nursing accredited through the Royal College of Nursing (6 study hours). Cost of course: £99 per person.Domestic abuse is a major health issue and the physical and psychological consequences of living with it can be profound and long-lasting. Health staff have a unique role in supporting those affected by abuse. This training course will draw on current research and contemporary theory to explain the dynamics of domestic abuse and the impacts on those experiencing it. It will conclude by considering what an appropriate health response might look like.

‘Helping Hands’ facilitation programme
Women's Aid, in partnership with Women's Aid in Northern Ireland, is rolling out the ‘Helping Hands’ programme for facilitators across England.What is ‘Helping Hands’?
'Helping Hands’ is a programme for children and young people which addresses challenging issues of personal space, safety planning & awareness of acceptable and unacceptable behaviours, not only in others but also in themselves.

Cost of course: £295 per person and this includes a facilitators handbook plus all the materials required to facilitate your first run of the programme for up to 10 children and young people.

‘You and Me, Mum’ facilitation training
Women's Aid, in partnership with Women's Aid in Northern Ireland, is rolling out the ‘You and Me, Mum’ programme across England.What is You and Me, Mum?
‘You and Me, Mum’ is a 10 week programme for mothers with experiences of domestic and sexual abuse. It aims to empower and support survivors in furthering their understanding of their role as mothers and in addressing the needs of children and young people who have lived with domestic abuse.

20th and 21st February 2013, Bristol
20th and 21st March 2013, London
